Product scope

Group B streptococcus (GBS, also known as Streptococcus agalactiae): Type antisera Ia–IX for Neufeld (capsular reaction) and Lancefield testing and ImmuLex™ Strep‑B latex kit for rapid agglutination.
Streptococcus suis: Type antisera (selected serotypes) for Neufeld (capsular reaction) and Lancefield testing.

Methods and use

Our portfolio supports established serological methods:

Lancefield test (precipitin in capillary tube) for group confirmation and serotyping.
Latex agglutination (ImmuLex™) for rapid results.
Neufeld (capsular reaction / Quellung) for capsule‑expressing streptococci (e.g., S. suis and Group B Streptococcus).
